Pleasant and quiet family camping located in Fundu Moldova in the North-East Carpats mountains. Perhaps the most beautiful part of Romania! Our camping place lies on a height of 756 meters and therefore cool sleeping nights without mosquitoes. An ideal … place to start your visit to the famous monasteries of the Bucovina. These monasteries are on the Unesco inheritance list and are monuments of religion, history and culture. Our camping place is also a very good starting point if you want e continue your journey to the Oecraïne and/or Moldavië. Beside of all this can you enjoy here the beautiful nature, the fantastic views, the walks, fresh air, the quietness and the amazing starry ski at night! No light pollution. The murmur of the river, on a distance of 50 meters, puts you in sleep in the evening….There is much to see: the mountain Rarau with a view of 50 kilometers, the state horse stable with 400 Hutu horses (the national horse breed), the intimate nun monastery of Orata, a 17th century wooden church etc. You can stay here for weeks and never have a bore moment. Brand new and clean sanitary facilities. Feel welcome and enjoy our hospitality.

Follow de road nr. 17/E576 (starts in Cluj and ends in Suveava). Approx. 35 kilometers after Vatra Dornei you get the sign Fundu Moldovei (take left). If you come from the direction of Suceava / Cimpalung Moldovonesc, you follow the … road after Cimpulung Moldovonesc. Just after Cimpulung you will see our first sign Camping Vuurplaats. After approx. 8 km you go to the right to Fundu Moldovei. From both sites you will see a sign Camping Vuurplaats.
